On the hills just west of Mission Bay, is the neighborhood of Bay Park. Largely developed in the 1950s, this neighborhood is centrally located to enjoy the best of San Diego. Many of the homes have beautiful sunset views over Mission Bay to the Pacific Ocean.
From the Mission Bay Visitor's Center at the foot of Clairemont Drive, you are looking up at the homes of Bay Park. Sometimes confused as Bay Ho, the neighborhood of Bay Park is bordered by Clairemont and Linda Vista to the east; the I-5 freeway, Mission Bay and Crown Point border on its western edge; Morena to the south; and by Balboa Ave. to the north (Bay Ho is located just to the north of Balboa Ave.).
"The beauty of Bay Park is that it's close to everything - Mission Bay, great beaches and Downtown San Diego," said Erica Knowles who has lived here for more than 20 years. "The schools are great and everything is conveniently close." Knowles is a Realtor with Prudential Dunn Real Estate in Bay Park and is obviously very familiar with the local real estate market.
